The special program "New Vision - New Era" will take place on January 23 at My Dinh National Stadium to celebrate the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Party’s 96th anniversary.
Held under the direction of the Party Central Committee and chaired by the Hanoi City Party Committee, the program is part of efforts to convey the significance and long-term orientations set by the 14th Party Congress, widely seen as opening a new phase in Vietnam’s development.
Hanoi authorities are coordinating with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to stage the event, aiming to bring the spirit of the congress closer to the public through large-scale artistic expression.
Beyond commemoration, the program aims to draw public engagement around the Congress’s resolutions, foster a sense of unity and confidence among Party members, the armed forces and the wider public.
The performance also reflects on four decades of reform since Doi Moi (Renewal) in 1986, highlighting economic and social achievements while projecting aspirations for a prosperous and resilient Vietnam, along with Hanoi’s revolutionary heritage and cultural identity, reinforcing the capital’s role in shaping national values and civic responsibility.
Scheduled to begin at 8 PM on January 23, the program will be staged at My Dinh National Stadium and broadcast live on VTV3 and digital platforms, attracting about 30,000 spectators.
